Family Life Resource Centre is a non-profit community based organisation, focusing on individuals, family and marriage development, our organisation was birthed through a group of individuals who gained victory over their own circumstances such as, drug abuse, divorce, family violence and hard times.
MISSION STATEMENT
Family Life Resource Centre is committed to bringing about positive changes in families, marriages, and the lives of individuals. We believe that all children should have the right to an education and a loving relationship with both parents. We believe every husband and wife has a significant role to play in the development of marriage and family life anmust accept responsibility thereof. We are committed to being of service to youth and individuals from dysfunctional families including single parents, widows and divorcees.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to play a strategic role in the social upliftment in every community and to improve the standard of living of individuals, families and marriages especialy those experiencing difficulties. We are intent on bringing practical methods of interaction and provide physical, emotional and spiritual support through our various programmes. Family Life Resource Centre envisages establishinga presence in every suburb of the Western Cape and throughout Africa by building centres, safe homes, rehabilitation centre and providing after-care to broken relationships and individuals and families, where they can be cared for and restored back to wholeness.
THE WAY WE WORK
The sanctity of confidentiality is emphasised. All staff members are required to sign strict confidentiality agreements and could be prosecuted for breach thereof. All voluntary workers are screened very carefully for relevant criteria. Our management is accountable to an appointed board of trustees. Our programmes are updated through regular research, data and statistics, to offer our clients good service. We present our programmes in schools and other institutions.
